Well I’ve been ironing out the last of the blog design. Only a few more tweaks to be made and I am very happy with how it has turned out. I was originally going to go with a typical “blog” feel of the posts being listed from top to bottom but I decided to throw in a three-column blog post design. I really like it and I hope you do too!
Hey everybody! The new web site design is shaping up quite nicely. If you’ve stopped by and noticed the new design, you’ve probably noticed a few things that aren’t quite styled yet. You might also notice I haven’t put any proper photos in my slider on the main page. No worries, that will change very soon. So after a lot of thinking, I decided a few weeks ago it was time to roll out a fresh, new design for the site. Something simpler. Truth is, this site design is nearly a year old and does not reflect my current ability to say the least. I’m extremely proud of the new design and I believe a lot of people will agree! I’ve already gotten great compliments from the few select people I’ve shown the new site design to. Needless to say, I’m excited to get it rolled out, it shouldn’t be too much longer!
So I got the new nav bar up – hurray. I’m pretty happy with it, but I’m not real happy with the landing page of the site in general. My bounce rate is completely horrible, and for good reason. My landing page is ugly, and there is nothing to draw attention. Keep Reading →
I’m been working on a new navigation bar for the site because the giant turquoise-ish, blue, green, pointy blocks aren’t really doing it for me. Not to mention I really wanted to add a home button for usability sake. So if you check up at all, be on the look out for this!
There are a handful of absurdly difficult, patience-testing things going on in the world, but I refuse to give up the fight. I’ll go to great lengths to fight for the goals I’ve set out for myself. I will do it with faith, persistence, and rationality – and nothing is higher than that.
This summer has not only been hot, but it’s been rough on my husband and I’s guitar store, Secret Sounds Music. My husband Ryan suggested that I get a J-O-B, and to be quite honest, I wasn’t happy about it.
